Meet Amy Hipple

with Amy’s Mini Creations

Amy Hipple is a New Jersey native multi-media artist, Registered Certified Art Therapist, and sole proprietor of Amy’s Mini Creations specializing in small-scale paintings and artwork. She is a formally trained visual artist and received her Bachelors Degree in Art in 2007 from Temple University in Philadelphia. She later received her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy and has worked with various populations and demographics using art making as a form of transformation and healing. Her work focuses on the use of bright and bold colors to create nature-inspired abstracted landscapes. Since relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2020, she has taken part in many pop-up events, displayed and sold work in local shops and boutiques, and has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Her work has included small-scale and larger scale work including “New Horizons” solo exhibition that took place in March 2022, followed by “Power In Your Presence" group show, 100 Tiny Things as part of the Charlotte International Art Festival, and “UNBOUND: Art by survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence” in May 2023. Most recently, her work is part of the Small Works exhibit at Charlotte Art League through November 2023.
